Delicious chocolate and raspberry mask (suitable for oily and combination skin)
For the past 3 months I have been so busy that I haven’t actually had time to give my face its usual weekend treat. So that has meant my face has been congested, pores blocked, spots of acne and dull complexion… etc…
Therefore this weekend, I consciously made time to pamper my face and make my very delicious chocolate and raspberry mask.
Mmmm… Smells so good I could eat it…
So let’s begin…
Orange illite clay (or bentonite or any other clay of your choice) 20g
Powdered milk (I used peak milk) 20g
Cocoa Powder (Be sure to use 100% powdered cocoa powder not Milo, Ovaltine and their ilk) 20g
Camu Camu Powder. 6g
Rasperry powder. 6g
Why These Ingredients?
Clay is good for deep cleansing of the skin, it has the ability to draw out toxins, impurities and bacteria from the skin. It can also remove excess oil from the skin, and is also able to tighten, tone and exfoliate skin.

Cocoa powder contains many important antioxidants, which help to fight free radicals on the skin. Free radicals are damaging agents in our environment, food and drink which cause the skin to age prematurely and look tired.
Camu Camu powder is a natural source of vitamin C. Vitamin C is a very important ingredient in skin care not only because of its antioxidant quality, but also for its slight exfoliating properties as well as brightening ability on skin. It might also affect Collagen synthesis in some cases.
Raspberry powder is a fruit powder which is packed with vitamins and help to loosen dead skin cells.
You can substitute Camu Camu powder with orange juice, lemon juice or any other citrus powder or juice available or even Moringa powder which is touted as having a high vitamin C content.
Raspberry power can be replaced by ground fresh strawberries if available.
